It's a social world out there.

What the kids do everyday…

Posted on: November 22, 2009

The above TedTalk given my Larry Lessig in 2007 is one that should be seen by anyone who uses or is thinking of using social media. Lessig eloquently explains why and how social media works.  His stories, argument and conclusion explain in 18-minutes why I love this field.  In saying, “The culture where the people produce for the love of what they are doing, not for the money. I mean the culture your kids are producing all the time,” Lessig explains how this culture is being build and fostered by people who are unaware it even exists.  Teens take part in and produce content in social media because they enjoy it, in this way social media like nothing the world has ever seen. Take 18 minutes and watch this video, you will be glad you did.
